Halal Korean BBQ Restaurant in London

Here’s the list of top Halal Korean BBQ restaurants in London;

1. Arang Restaurant

It is one of the better halal Korean BBQ restaurants in East London. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, with some standouts who went above and beyond.

The menu contains classic Korean dishes, and the BBQ is delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is enjoyable and adds to the overall experience.

However, some customers have had negative experiences with customer service, hygiene, and food quality/quantity for the price.

Why Should You Visit It

While my personal experience was positive, it’s essential to remember that there are some areas for improvement. Arang is a good option for halal Korean food in East London.

2. Kalbi Korean BBQ

I have mixed feelings about the place. While the food is generally good, some aspects could be improved upon.

On the positive side, the food is excellent and comes at a great price. The meats are well-marinated with incredible flavours, and the portions of meat in the BBQ buffet are generous.

The BBQ itself is impressive, especially the marinated chicken and spicy pork. And to top it off, the staff is friendly, and the service is good.

However, some areas need improvement. For instance, some meat may need to be marinated appropriately, resulting in a bland taste, and the meat quality can be dry and mediocre.

Additionally, the meat is marinated in a sweet sauce, which may only be suitable for some. The beef steak, which is not pre-marinated, can also be dry.

Why Should You Visit It

Kalbi Korean BBQ is a decent halal Korean BBQ joint in London, but some areas need improvement. Look elsewhere if you are in the mood for some tremendous halal Korean fried chicken.

3. Superstar BBQ

The food was undeniably delicious, with an extensive selection to choose from. The friendly and helpful staff were also a plus, making our dining experience more enjoyable.

The location was convenient, and plenty of halal and vegetarian options were available, which is excellent for those with dietary restrictions. Additionally, the portions were generous, which is always a bonus.

However, the food was overpriced, and the service quality needed more consistency. Some waiters lacked enthusiasm and were even rude, while others were overly eager to take plates away.

Moreover, the drinks were expensive and not well-prepared, often served flat, lukewarm, and in a bottle with a straw.

Why Should You Visit It

SuperStar BBQ in Whitechapel is a good option for halal Korean BBQ, with its delicious food, good location, and friendly staff.

However, the restaurant could improve its pricing, service quality, cleanliness, and drink preparation to make the dining experience more enjoyable for all customers.

4. Bari Bari

Bari Bari is a great option if you’re in the mood for some delicious Halal Korean BBQ in London. The chicken and beef were halal and cooked separately, significantly relieving Muslim diners. The portions were generous, and a single portion was enough for two people to share.

The staff at Bari Bari were lovely and accommodating, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

I highly recommend trying the  rice with rice, dumplings, Korean fried chicken, tofu soup, jjajangmyeon, Chicken Galbi, Bulgogi, Bibimbap, lettuce wrap, and steamed rice. While the Kimchi was tasty, it appeared to be picked rather than fermented.

One downside of the restaurant is that the tables could be spread slightly apart, which can be uncomfortable during peak times.

The food is also a little pricey, but it’s worth the experience. However, before heading there, it’s best to check which halal meats are available.

Why Should You Visit It

Overall, Bari Bari is a decent Halal Korean BBQ restaurant in London with a range of dishes worth trying. It’s also worth checking which halal meats are on offer before visiting.

 5. KOREAN BBQ AND VEGAN

With an extensive menu that caters to vegetarians and non-vegetarians and halal options, there’s something for everyone.KOREAN BBQ AND VEGAN

The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff happy to explain and suggest menu items based on your dietary requirements. You can expect fast service; all the food is halal, with no alcohol served.

Additionally, there have been reports of non-vegan food being served to customers, which could be a traumatic experience for vegans. It’s essential to be clear about your dietary restrictions when ordering.

Why Should You Visit It

Overall, this Korean BBQ and Vegan restaurant is an excellent option for those looking for halal Korean food and various vegetarian options. You should check out other options if you’re looking for a halal breakfast spot in London.
